The Reset Glitch Hack or JTAG will allow your Xbox 360 to run unsigned code (homebrew) and open the console up for development. You will now be able to run all kinds of software such as applications, emulators, Linux, file browsers, .xex loaders, game loaders, & media players. You will also be able to boot into alternate dashboard from where you will be able to backup and play your Xbox 360 games right from you internal or external hard drive without having to have the disc in the console. Game region restriction removed. This is what a lot of people are waiting for, a chance to play all your imported titles that you have not been able to play!!!!! Hard drive restrictions are also removed and you can install any 2.5″ internal drive into your console without having to flash the drive with any special tools. Just throw in the drive, go to the Xbox memory settings and format the new drive. XBLA / DLC unlocking, with this you are able to transfer over your XBLA & DLC downloads without the locking to a specific console ID.
